Our focus is on Quality Hardwood Lumber. Lumber that starts from the best logs, is placed on good steel carts that are flat and straight. Kiln practices that produce consistent high quality lumber that is stress relieved and properly conditioned. Once you get lumber held to these specifications your woodworking project quality will improve, regardless of the species used.
The finest Cherry Walnut - These two woods are just fine for any woodworking or furniture project. They are about the best wood North America has to offer. They grow well in our area and are recommended highly. We try to keep these species on hand in a good selection of width and thicknesses.
Red Oak Hard Maple These two woods are as reliable and predictable as any species. They too are abundant in our area, and we try to keep a constant stock of these quality woods in different widths and thickness.
Other Species White Oak - A great wood for furniture making, we generally carry some. Occasionally we have some quarter sawn available. Hickory - very hard on equipment, but beautiful. We generally have some 4/4 in stock. Eastern Red Cedar - Very popular for Mantles, we normally have several mantles to choose from.
